About LegacyVia

LegacyVia is an independent publication about artificial intelligence and technology. I write guides, practical explanations, and analysis for people who want to understand how AI and modern technology actually work especially if most of what you find online assumes you already know everything.

My name is Krish Shrestha, and I run this publication on my own. Every article on this site is something I personally researched, wrote, and maintain.

My Story

I got interested in technology around Grade 7, when I started wondering how websites actually worked. I found some tutorials online, taught myself HTML and CSS, and eventually built my first website. It wasn’t anything impressive but the process of figuring it out on my own was enough to keep me going.

After that, I started picking up other things: Python, SQL, blockchain. I wasn’t trying to become an expert in any one area. I just liked understanding how different technologies worked and how they connected to each other.

Over time, artificial intelligence became the subject I kept coming back to. I started reading about machine learning, testing AI tools, following what was happening in robotics, and paying closer attention to how AI was showing up in everyday technology.

Right now, I’m an A-Level student studying Computer Science, Mathematics, and Physics. Outside of school, most of my time goes into researching AI topics, working on personal projects, and writing for LegacyVia.

Why I Started LegacyVia

I was already spending a lot of time researching topics and keeping notes for myself. At some point, it made sense to turn those notes into something other people could use too.

The idea behind LegacyVia is straightforward: learn something properly, then explain it clearly. I don’t write as an expert handing down knowledge — I write as someone working through these topics and sharing what I find along the way.

I’m not trying to be the fastest publisher or cover every trending topic. I’d rather take my time with fewer articles and make sure each one is accurate and actually useful.

What LegacyVia Covers

Most of what I publish is about artificial intelligence foundational concepts, how generative AI works, reviews and comparisons of AI tools, and practical guides aimed at beginners.

I also cover related areas when they connect to what I’m exploring: cybersecurity, software, emerging technologies, and digital business.

You can browse by topic: Artificial Intelligence · Generative AI · AI Tools · AI Guides · AI Trends · Future of AI

How I Research and Write

Before writing anything, I spend time with the topic. Depending on what I’m covering, that might involve reading official documentation, studying technical references, going through reputable industry sources, reviewing published research, or testing tools and platforms firsthand.

Not every article uses every type of source — it depends on the subject. A guide explaining a foundational concept draws heavily on documentation and established references. A tool review involves hands-on testing. I try to be clear in each article about what I’m drawing from.

I write with beginners in mind. That means clear structure, plain language, and no jargon unless I’m explaining it in the same sentence. I break articles into sections so you can scan them or read straight through whichever works for you.

I also go back and update articles when something significant changes. If a tool gets a major update, or a concept I explained needs correcting, I’d rather fix the existing piece than leave outdated information on the site.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who writes LegacyVia?

I do — Krish Shrestha. LegacyVia is a one-person publication. I handle the research, writing, editing, and site maintenance myself.

Who is this written for?

Anyone curious about artificial intelligence and technology, particularly beginners. I don’t assume prior technical knowledge, and I explain things in plain language.

How do you keep articles accurate?

I research each topic using official documentation, reputable sources, and hands-on testing where possible. When something meaningful changes, I update existing articles rather than leaving them outdated.

Are older articles still reliable?

I actively maintain published content. When a topic I’ve covered changes significantly, I go back and update the article so it reflects current information.
