Krish Shrestha runs LegacyVia as a solo operation, handling the research, writing, editing and site maintenance himself.
His interest in technology started around Grade 7, when he got curious about how websites were actually built. He taught himself HTML and CSS through online tutorials, eventually built his first website, and kept going from there. Over time, he picked up Python, SQL, and blockchain — not to specialise in any one area, but because he liked understanding how different technologies connected.
Artificial intelligence became the subject he kept coming back to. He started reading about machine learning, testing AI tools, and paying closer attention to how AI was showing up in everyday technology and emerging fields like robotics.
Krish is currently an A-Level student studying Computer Science, Mathematics, and Physics. Outside of school, most of his time goes into researching AI topics, working on personal projects, and writing for LegacyVia.
Why I Created LegacyVia
I was spending a lot of time researching topics on my own and keeping notes. At some point it made sense to turn those notes into something other people could use too.
LegacyVia started as a way for me to document what I’m learning — not as someone with all the answers, but as someone working through these topics and writing about them as I go. The idea is simple: understand something properly, then explain it as clearly as I can.
I don’t write as a technology expert. I write as someone who’s curious, does the research, and wants to make complicated topics easier for others to follow.
Areas I Explore
Most of what Krish publishes on LegacyVia focuses on artificial intelligence — foundational concepts, generative AI, AI tools and comparisons, and practical guides aimed at beginners.
He also covers related areas when they connect to what he’s researching: cybersecurity, software, emerging technologies, and digital business.

How I Research
Before writing an article, Krish spends time with the topic. Depending on what he’s covering, that might involve reading official documentation, studying technical references, going through reputable industry sources, reviewing published research, or testing tools and platforms firsthand.
Not every article draws on every type of source — it depends on the subject. A guide explaining a foundational concept relies heavily on documentation and established references. A tool comparison involves hands-on testing. He tries to be clear in each article about where the information comes from.
When something significant changes in a topic already covered, Krish goes back and updates the article rather than leaving outdated information on the site.
What Readers Can Expect
LegacyVia is written with beginners and general readers in mind. Articles are structured so they’re easy to scan, written in plain language, and don’t assume prior technical knowledge.
If you’re looking for practical explanations of AI concepts, honest tool comparisons, or guides that don’t drown you in jargon, that’s what this publication is built around.
